Luego de 15 años en la industria musical como cantante, compositor y productor, el 2020 ha sido un año muy importante para LUCIANO LUNA, año en el que recibió su primer Latin GRAMMY como productor a Mejor Álbum de Banda. Luciano continues to place his songs with important artists and produce for renowned artists like Pepe Aguilar and many others. Luciano developed a passion for producing other artist’s music projects and became the person to go to for many, such as Lucero, Fanny Lu, Grupo Duelo, Horoscopos de Durango, Mariana Seoane, and many others. In 2019, Luciano was honored with El Premio Conquistador by the Latin Songwriter Hall of Fame for all his success and his hard work.
Luciano has received multiple recognitions as a composer, including Songwriter of the Year in SESAC for 5 consecutive years, more than 50 SESAC Awards for his songs that reached #1 on the charts, SACM AWARDS, Billboard Awards, Monitor Latino Awards, Premios Bandamax, multiple BMI Awards, which has made him the most recognized Regional Mexican composer of all times. Since then, many well-known musical groups, such as, Banda El Recodo, Julion Alvarez, Banda Los Recoditos, Los Tigres del Norte, Arrolladora Banda El Limon, Ricardo Montaner, Gerardo Ortiz, and Lucero, amongst many others that have reached #1 on the Billboard charts, have recorded his songs. In 2016, his song “Tus Palabras” was recorded by Award-winning Banda El Recodo, and opened the doors for Luciano as a composer.
Luciano started as a vocalist for many local music groups in his birthplace, Guamuchil, Sinaloa, where he managed to enter the music industry and placed his first songs as a composer. After 15 years in the music industry as a singer, composer, and producer, 2020, has been a very important year for LUCIANO LUNA, a year in which he received his first Latin GRAMMY as a producer for Best Banda Album.
